Outreach Services Policy

Wythe-Grayson Regional Library offers free outreach services to residents of Wythe and Grayson County who are homebound and those without transportation to the library.

Patrons who apply for outreach services must have a valid Wythe-Grayson Regional Library card. If you do not have a library card application can be made through outreach services.

Materials are delivered every two weeks .  Should delivery be missed due to inclement weather or holidays, patron materials will be renewed or the due date set to reflect the next scheduled visit.  Deliveries may sometimes be rescheduled and outreach services will notify you of the next date of delivery.

Materials circulated to outreach patrons will not be charged overdue fines. Outreach services will contact you about any overdue materials. Once an item is  6 weeks overdue, the patron is blocked from further checkouts until the item is returned or paid for.

HOW MANY ITEMS CAN BE CHECK OUT?

This depends on your personal preference. Most patrons request 2-7 items per delivery.

Policy allows 25 items per patron.
