Troutdale, VA – Amy Adams, the new Director of Wythe-Grayson Regional Library, will be at Goodwill Grange 959 on Tuesday, February 18, at 1:30 pm to meet patrons and community
members of the Troutdale region.
Amy will be visiting library branches and communities in the area, getting to know the public in preparation for implementing improvements in the library system. She is thrilled to meet and
exchange ideas with the wonderful community at the Grange.
“I look forward to meeting our patrons and seeing the area,” Amy said. “We have great communities, and I am fortunate to be a part of them.”
Amy grew up in Bridgeport, West Virginia. After earning her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education with a specialization in library science, Amy served 10 years as the Children’s Librarian at Bridgeport Public Library. Then, after completing her Master of Library Science Degree, Amy became the Youth Services Manager at Martinsburg-Berkeley Public Libraries. From there, she served as the Director at Clarksburg-Harrison Public Library.
Amy will be at the Grange on Tuesday, February 18, at 1:30 pm. Refreshments will be served and everyone is invited.
