Garden like the presidents! – Grayson County Library

This workshop is aimed at recreating the garden of Martha Washington, first First Lady of the United States! We’ll be planting 18th-century heritage seeds known to have been grown at Mount Vernon, including:
- Lettuce (Amish Deer Tongue)
- Onion (White Lisbon Bunching)
- Cucumber (Armenian)
- Kale (Blue Curled Scotch)
- Hot Pepper (Fish)
- Carrot (Danvers 126)
- Radish (Early Scarlet Globe)
- Watermelon (Georgia Rattlesnake)
