Needle Felted Gnomes

Transform soft wool into a 3-D sculpture! At this free craft program, Ruthanne Sawyer will be teaching teens and tweens how to create their own needle-felted gnomes (or leprechauns). Celebrate the St. Patrick’s Day season by spending time with friends and creating something unique!

Where: Grayson County Public Library

Date: Thursday, March 7 (Snow date: Thursday, March 14)

Time: 5pm – 6:30pm

Ukrainian Egg Decorating Workshop

Did you know that each color on the Pysanky has a different meaning? Green stands for Spring, while orange stands for strength. Come on out and learn other cool facts on the Ukrainian Egg decorating tradition! Make your own Pysanky to take home and enjoy time with friends! Spaces are limited, so please call ahead of time to reserve your spot!

Game Night

Prep yourself for some competition because the Grayson County Library is now having a monthly Game Night! Hang out with friends, play some games, and eat tasty snacks. If you have a favorite game at home, bring it! We’d love to play it too.
Organized by the GCPL Teen Advisory Group.

Dungeons & Dragons

Are you tired of reality and want to enter a world of magic, monsters, and spectacular adventure? Then go to Wythe County Public Library on Wednesdays and enter the realm of medieval fantasy that is Dungeons & Dragons. Dive into this fantasy role-playing game and create your own story of swords and sorcery. Step into the boots of a mighty hero (or sneaky anithero) and gather your team – the adventure begins!

All experience levels welcome. Snacks and drinks will be provided.

Where: Wythe County Public Library, in the meeting/conference room

Date: Every Wednesday
