Edible Book Contest

Wythe County Public Library

Wythe County Regional Library is going to have an edible book contest. Since this is our first time trying this, you may not be familiar with this. It’s a contest where participants create an edible food item with a book or character theme. Usually a baked cake. It can be based from any fiction or non fiction book. It has to be made by the participant (not ordered from a bakery). And can also be a lot of creative fun for a family, group, or team. We will have some local merchants participating as judges, and gift certificate prizes in different categories. As well as a audience choice prize. You can pick up an entry form at either the Wythe County Library or the Rural Retreat Public Library. This fun event will be held at Wythe County Public Library on Saturday, February 15th at 12 noon! Cakes must be dropped off by 11:30 am the Saturday of the contest.
