Which is better: the book or the movie?
From reading to the red carpet, this is the Read2Red books-to-movie club! Read each month’s assigned novel or theme at home, then come to the club meeting to watch the movie counterpart with fellow bibliophiles and cinephiles. The club meets every first Thursday of each month at 10 am at Wythe County Public Library.

January (meeting Jan 3)
Book:  “Prisoner of Zenda” by Anthony Hope
Movie:  1952 film

February  (meeting Feb 7)
Book = Choose any spy novel you would like to read

March  (meeting Mar 7)
Book:  “Rhubarb” by H. Allen Smith

April  (meeting Apr 4)
Book: Choose any book about alternate histories
(Need help finding a book? Try this article for inspiration
Movie hint = Out of Texas’ bravest hour…came the man they called a coward.

May  (meeting May 2)
Book:  “Nothing Lasts Forever” by Roderick Thorp
Movie hint = “Yippie-kai-yay” (rated R)

June  (meeting Jun 6)
Book:  Choose a book by Edna Ferber
Movie = The story went from the book to the stage to the screen
